Bomb and maggot fishing for Bream in high winds

I fish a gravel pit that is very productive for big Bream using groundbait and maggots with a bomb instead of a feeder. With strong winds blowing sideways in the big open lake, it is impossible to fish with a feeder accurately. Firing out balls of ground bait using a catapult and then casting out a bomb with maggots on the hook helps to achieve accuracy, leading to more bites and more fish. I managed to hook into a few nice size fish, but more than that it was so satisfying to look and enjoy the slow smooth pull around bites you get on the rod when you fish this way. It turned out to be a really enjoyable mid-spring session, although the conditions were tough. #lakefishing #coarsefishing If you would like to support the channel with a contribution please do so via: https://buymeacoffee.com/jjangling If you would like to send a personal message feel free to ping me on Instagram:   / jj.angling
