Today, a practical training exercise on airborne parachute landings for air force and special forces took place under harsh weather conditions, with strong winds and intense heat. The helicopters used in this mission were Mi-171 and Mi-172. Each helicopter carried dozens of paratrooper special forces soldiers, flying to a pre-determined area on a map. Based on parameters such as distance, altitude, and wind direction, the flight crew calculated the precise drop point so that the soldiers could exit the helicopter, deploy their parachutes, and land in the correct combat zone. Before carrying out the mission, the airborne mechanized forces, paratrooper special forces, and parachute instructors conducted thorough checks of all specialized equipment to ensure absolute safety. Each soldier was connected to a special cable system attached to a pilot parachute.
