Students explore the design of such childhood games as Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon in a quest to understand how video games themselves are implemented. Via lectures and hands-on projects, the course explores principles of 2D graphics, animation, sound, and collision detection using the LÖVE framework and Lua programming language. By course's end, students will have programmed several of their own games and gained a thorough understanding of the basics of game design and development. • CS50's Introduction to Game Development 2018 *** This is CS50, Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming. *** HOW TO SUBSCRIBE http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
