I recently went to Geumosan Mountain in Gumi. I’ve wanted to visit this mountain for a long time because I fell in love with the scenery at Yaksaam Hermitage. Thanks to the Gumi Running Crew (GRC) helping me lead the hike this time, I was able to fully experience the magnificent beauty of Geumosan Mountain!! Starting from the lawn plaza, we went through Daehye Waterfall, Haltak Pass, Ohyeong Stone Pagoda, Maeyeo-rae Ipsang (Standing Buddha Carved into a Rock), Yaksaam Hermitage, Hyeonwolbong Peak (Summit), and finally to Ssanggeobukbawi (Twin Turtle Rocks)!!! I plan to go back soon on my own to capture the sunrise sea of ​​clouds at Yaksaam Hermitage and Doseongul Cave, which I missed this time. That is how much I fell in love with the scenery of Geumosan Mountain. There were so many spots where I just wanted to sit and zone out. The Geumosan Trail, located right near Mt. Geumosan, was great for a walk, and a bowl of noodles at the noodle alley in Gumi Central Market, just 15 minutes away, was the best.
