DIY Pulse Oximeter: Designing & Etching My Own PCB!
Making your Pulse Oximeter at home sounds impossible until you try it. In this video, I challenge myself to build a fully custom Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Monitor from scratch. No breadboards, no pre-made kits. I take you through the entire messy, satisfying process: routing the circuit lines in Kicad, dealing with chemicals to etch the copper clad board with Ferrous Chloride, and finally soldering down the Arduino Nano, OLED display, and MAX30102 sensor. Does it actually work? Watch to find out!
