In Conversation with Camilla Languille, Co-CEO of Mubadala Private Equity
Camilla Languille is Co-CEO of Mubadala’s Private Equity platform, leading global direct investments across healthcare, technology, consumer, financial services, industrials, and energy. Since joining in 2013, she has played a key role in expanding Mubadala’s international presence across Abu Dhabi, New York, London, and Beijing. Before Mubadala, Camilla worked in M&A with Daiwa Capital and SocGen in Paris, was part of the investment team at Virgin Group in London, and began her career in healthcare M&A at JPMorgan in New York and London. She holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, is a Canadian national who has lived in 14 countries, and is fluent in English and French. In this conversation, she reflects on building global investment platforms, balancing purpose and performance, and leading through change. She also discusses how AI and geopolitics are influencing private markets and what long-term leadership means in an evolving world. Hosted by the Edinburgh University Private Equity Society.
