In this episode, we reach the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina and stop in a city that, at first glance, is captivating… but it hides much more. Stari Most is not just a symbol of Mostar – it's a place that still reminds us of the history, war, and divisions that shaped this city. We walk the streets of Mostar, trying to understand what everyday life is like in a place where the past is still present. We talk about what happened here during the war and how these events influenced the lives of its residents today. But Mostar is not just history. It's also about people, culture, and flavors. We sample local cuisine, visit restaurants, and discover what people eat in Bosnia. We were also surprised by the number of tourists from Turkey – why are there so many of them, and what attracts them here? This is the fourth country on our journey through 13 countries we plan to visit while living and traveling by van.
