Hello, friends! We're back on La Palma, this time to check out the final damage after the end of the Cumbre Vieja eruption in 2021. The video focuses on three specific points in the northern part of the lava flows: two in La Laguna and the other on the La Costa highway. We get as close as possible to the lava flows and observe how, unfortunately, the lava buried too many homes, businesses, farms, and many kilometers of road. Please note that the video was recorded in March 2022, so these locations may no longer be in that state today. Fortunately, the reconstruction of La Palma is a reality, and in the video, I discuss the most notable progress so far (June 2022). The video is also intended to be a kind of "informational document" of the consequences of a historic event, such as the eruption, less than three months after its end.
