Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 3 New Features (Survival and Decoration) Cushions: Available in 16 variations (one for each wool color). They are crafted using 3 wool slabs of the same color. They can be placed on any flat surface and allow the player to sit when interacting with them. They have no collision, can overlap with other objects (except other cushions), and break if the block beneath them is destroyed. Straw Beds: Allow players to skip night without resetting their spawn point. They are single-use and are destroyed after sleeping in them. They do not work in the Nether or the End (they are destroyed if attempted). They are crafted with 3 hay bales (creating 4 beds). A new tracker has been added to the Stats tab to track their use. Language: Official support for the Gothic language. Technical Changes (Key to Mods and Data Packs) Modular Potion Recipes (Data-driven): The brewing system is now data-driven and can be modified via Data Packs using the recipe type minecraft:brewing. This allows the use of any item in all three potion slots, facilitating the creation of custom alchemy systems and mods. New /posteffect command: Allows post-processing shaders to be applied directly to the player's screen. Includes the parameters add, clear, list, and remove. Effects are applied client-side via resource packs. New Internal Registry: Addition of the Number Provider Registry. Bug Fixes World Generation: Fixed an issue where ores were not generating within Andesite, Diorite, or Granite formations below Y=0. Abandoned camp structures no longer generate persistent leaves or incorrectly drop items. Mobs: Drowned now correctly chase players and no longer consume or use items they shouldn't. Effects and Performance: The glowing effect no longer sticks on screen after being purged. Level 3 Mining Fatigue now applies the correct speed factor. Visuals and Interface: Fixed a rendering bug with Vulkan on macOS that caused worlds to appear magenta. Fixed spacing issues in tooltips and a misplaced 3-pixel pixel in the enchanting table interface.
