Psicoterapeuti italiani - Maurilio Orbecchi

Maurilio Orbecchi teaches Psychology of Religion and Spirituality at the University of Turin. He has taught Clinical Psychology at the University of Insubria, Jungian Anthropology at the University of Pavia, and Psychopathology of Language at the University of Milan. A physician specializing in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, he studies the relationships between neuroscience, mind, culture, religion, and biological and cultural evolution. For several years, he contributed to the science and culture pages of the newspapers La Stampa and La Repubblica, writing about psychotherapy, neuroscience, human and animal behavior, and biological and cultural evolution. In addition to scientific and popular articles, he has published the book Biologia dell'anima (Biology of the Soul) with Bollati Boringhieri and edited Pierre Janet's Psychoanalysis, accompanying it with an extensive introductory essay. He is a full member of the Italian Society of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (SITCC).
