Taking over from her parents, Buddhi and Ranasiri Keerthisena, Darshi has introduced fresh design concepts and innovative approaches to meet contemporary styles and evolving fashion demands. Her journey is grounded in strong academic and industry experience, with a Diploma in Fashion Design from Singapore and a BA (Hons) in Fashion and Textile Design from Birmingham City University in the UK. Before returning to the family business in 2005, Darshi worked at Brandix designing for Marks & Spencer, and later at MAS Linea Aqua. Since showcasing her collections at Colombo Fashion Week from 2007 onwards, she has gained significant exposure and recognition, going on to become the first Sri Lankan fashion designer to showcase at the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange.
