Gold vs. Silver, Does it Make a Difference? plus Stainless Steel and New Tech from Japan

Does Gold vs. Silver playing make a difference? Surprisingly to me, yes! Timing and description below. In this video I have a chance to directly compare a Griego GP6 in Silver plating and Gold playing. I've been a skeptic of plating making a difference in mouthpieces, but in trying these out I found that I really preferred one to the other. To test these mouthpieces I decided to use four of the more common bass trombone excerpts - Resphigi's Fountains of Rome, Haydn's Creation, Shumann 3, and Kodaly's Hary Janos. We're also at the end checking in on a Stainless Steel option - a Giddings & Webster Don Harwood model, as well as my new Moto 59DW*, which was the preferred choice from my previous bass trombone video (and also has gold plating on the rim and inside!)
