How To Turn A YELLOW ring WHITE!
In this video I electroplated rhodium on a yellow gold ring, thus essentially "turning" a yellow gold ring into white gold. That being said, this is still a yellow gold ring, just electroplated with a thin layer of white! Rhodium plating will start to wear off over time and the ring will turn back yellow. If someone is looking to have a ring permanently stay white, the best option is to have the ring remade in the desired metal color. White gold rings are also rhodium plated periodically to restore that bright white appearance.
