The White Cold Void Above is a literary memorial album inspired by the Korean short story “반자, 그 희고 차가운.” This album was created from the image of a hidden ceiling cavity — the sealed space between a finished white ceiling and the roof above it. Inside that artificial darkness, pipes, wires, ducts, water pressure, dust, and forgotten memories remain unseen. The music follows two exhausted maintenance workers inside an empty museum, a small stain on a white ceiling, leaking water, a mysterious light moving through the dark space above, and the quiet weight of those who never fully disappear. This is not a horror album. It is a slow memorial ambient pop album about absence, grief, labor, water, hidden spaces, and the traces left behind by lost children and forgotten lives. The tragedy is not named directly. Instead, the album listens to water, ceilings, stains, silence, and light. Album concept: A white ceiling below. A man-made darkness above.
