Welcome to History of Israel 101, a channel dedicated to the history of Israel and the Jewish people. In our first video, we will talk about Maccabee Rebellion. Maccabee Rebellion remains one of the foundational stories of the Jewish nation and is widely celebrated during Hannukah. However, it is often viewed only through the prism of tradition and religion. In this video, we will discuss the historical events that led to the rebellion, the progress of the rebellion itself, and its aftermath.
