The Mofetta is built around the classic circuit topology of the Vintage Ibanez Mostortion, MT-10, but with a modern twist that brings new life to this vintage design. The Ibanez Mostortion is known for its use of a MOSFET-based op amp and clipping diodes to achieve its unique overdrive sound. However, the Mofetta takes this concept further by having the ability of incorporating actual MOSFET gain stages instead of just relying on soft clipping diodes.
