Santa Barbara's Rare Aloe Nursery

In my latest succulent-destination video, we visit a Santa Barbara home nursery that's making it possible for the seed-grown offspring of wild African aloes to grace residential gardens. "I'm very blessed to work in areas of the world that others don't have the opportunity to visit," says humanitarian aid worker and Cold Spring Aloes owner Tom Cole. In addition to discovering previously unknown aloes in remote regions of East Africa, Tom has the goal "to get these species out there, because they're really tremendous."
