Byrne and Kelly - The Meeting of the Waters

An excerpt from the music documentary film 'Echoes: The Story'. As the snow flurries came down on a Wednesday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri, Byrne and Kelly performed the entire Echoes album to a small, intimate audience with The Vow Exchange serving as the rustic and unique background for this incredibly special experience. Following that live recording, director Michael McGlinn joined Neil and Ryan in Ireland for a week in January to capture the true essence of Ireland on film. In Echoes: The Story, the duo takes you to some of the most beautiful and iconic spots on the Emerald Isle that were the inspiration behind many of the songs on the album. The film also features interviews with both Neil and Ryan as they discuss the songwriting stories behind the music, their personal influences and journeys as musicians.
