🐄 Apollo's First Calf – LIVE 24/7 Calving Watch! 🐄 Welcome to Apollo's calving watch! 💕 Apollo is one of our heifers, and she's expecting her very first calf. Over the next few days we'll be live 24/7 as we wait for the big moment and hopefully welcome a healthy new arrival into the world. Apollo is wearing a MooCall calving sensor on her tail, which monitors tail movement to help detect the early signs of labour. At around 10:30 PM on 4th July, the sensor alerted us that she'd shown a high level of tail activity over the previous hour. While this can be an early indication that labour is beginning, it can also be a false alarm, so we're keeping a very close eye on her. Will tonight be the night, or will Apollo keep us all guessing?
