Borderline vs Bipolar Explained So Simply!
This video helps explain the difference between Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Bipolar Disorder. People with BPD have quick mood changes that usually happen after problems with other people. In contrast, Bipolar Disorder involves mood swings that last much longer, like days or weeks. Research shows that people with BPD often feel strong guilt and shame, especially when they have problems in relationships. These feelings can last a long time and make life harder. To tell the difference between BPD and other disorders, doctors look at how often someone feels these emotions, how strong they are, and how much they affect daily life. Treatment for both disorders can include medication, therapy, and support programs. Therapy is very important and can include talking with a counselor alone, with family, or in a group. Daniel J.
