Hey everyone, I received so many sweet reactions to the hassle with my finger! Thank you for that. In this video, you can see how it ends. In Austria, you need a vignette on the Autobahn (A roads) and the Schnellstrassen (S roads); in our case, a Go-box or Maut-box because we weigh considerably more than 3,500 kg. Before we started this trip, we decided that we would only purchase one when we really needed it. Apparently, you can buy one of these near almost every motorway on-ramp. You have to load credit onto the box so that money is deducted when you drive on a toll road. What we find particularly annoying about the Go-box is that when you leave the country, you have to look for a 'Go-vertrieb' where you can get your excess credit refunded. As far as we know, this isn't possible online, nor at every sales point. Well, so far we are still driving toll-free, so for us it has become a 'sport' to take toll-free routes whenever we start traveling again. We hope to be able to keep doing that until we drive out of Austria again! You will experience that with us, but enough about those tolls. We enjoyed Villach; we even climbed the church tower there and, I can tell you, we took quite a nice walk that day. Eventually, we also went back to the 'Terra Mystica' mine, and that was a wonderful experience too. Once again, we ended up at a very special camper site; we were the first guests there!
