The pre-departure check is part of the practical driving test and lasts approximately 15 minutes. There are a total of 10 control cards – today we'll discuss card 3. Before the test drive, you may draw a card and answer the questions for the examiner. Card 3 contains the following questions: 1. Explain the meaning of the warning lights on the tachograph; Device failure 2. Visual inspection of the service brake and parking brake 3. Visual inspection of the wheel nuts 4. Check the function of the parking lights, low beams, high beams, and front marker lights 5. Check the engine oil level 6.
