Ryhope Pumping Station - working steam beam engine
I visited Ryhope Pumping Station for the annual classic vehicle show, but unfortunately the weather was against us. However, the steam engines were fired up and running, and so in this video I put my Fred Dibnah hat on and take a look at this magnificent piece of Victorian engineering. Ryhope Pumping Station is a Grade II listed building and an Ancient Scheduled Monument. You can find out more at https://ryhopeengines.org.uk/
