After participating in the Kansai University Rakugo Study Group, rakugo performer Katsura Beimai became an apprentice to master Katsura Beidanji, where she continues to train. Before joining the group, she was advised that she needed a driver's license, and it took her a year to get one. She applied to become his apprentice with the demeanor of a lost dog, and her enthusiasm moved her master. Through daily practice and hard work at the vaudeville theater, she displays a natural charm that instantly lightens the mood when she steps onstage.
