Wandern in Bayern - Von Herrsching am Ammersee zum Kloster Andechs(2018, 4k)

The hike to the oldest place of pilgrimage in Bavaria starts at the S-Bahn car park of Herrsching and goes along the lake promenade to the castle Mühlfeld and then on the farm road to the vanished village Ramsee. From there continue on the Mühltalbach to the outskirts of Andechs and further into the Kienbachtal. Then up to the pilgrimage church (1423-27) on the Holy Mountain. After visiting the baroque treasures of the church and the unique monastery complex, it goes back through the Kienbachtal to Herrsching to the train station, as well as to the northern beach and back to the starting point (distance about 12km, about 3 hours and +/- 200 meters) ,
