America Prays 250

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, believers from across the United States will unite for what is being called the largest prayer endeavor in the history of the Assemblies of God. “America Prays 250” is a nationwide call to prayer on the 250th anniversary of our nation, with churches and believers gathering for one united hour of prayer at 9:00 AM in every time zone across America. Together, we will join hundreds of thousands of believers praying for spiritual awakening, for the Church, and for our nation. Here at Metro, we are embracing this moment with a churchwide online prayer gathering from 9:00–10:00 AM through our online platforms (YouTube, Facebook, and more). Rather than gathering in one physical location, we are calling every member, regular attendee, friend, and family member of Metro to join us from wherever they are for this sacred hour of united prayer. We believe this opportunity is too important for only a few to respond to — we believe God is calling the whole Church to pray. As we pray together, we are believing for more than just a moment. We are praying for a movement — one that strengthens our church, impacts our city, touches our region, and sparks fresh evangelistic momentum across our nation. May this rekindle a passion for corporate prayer and awaken hearts once again to the presence and power of God. Before we celebrate the nation, let us consecrate the day. 🇺🇸 Every church.
