The show has been on the air for over five decades, reaching the Dominican people both in Quisqueya (the Dominican Republic) and abroad. The Midday Show features a large cast, directed by Iván Ruiz, including Rafael Ventura, Rusking Pimentel, Ivonne Ferrera, Graymer Méndez, Rosalía Rosa (La Shanty), El Señor Voz, Julio Clemente, Aridio Castillo, La Banda, and many more. This program has made history; it first aired in 1969 on Radio Televisión Dominicana, now known as 4RD.
