I built my own Mac app just by talking to AI. No code. Took me a couple of days. For 3 years I had a really annoying workflow archiving my analog film scans. Never found a good solution, so I built one myself using Glaze, a new app by Raycast. I called it Scenery. It reads my file system, lets me set the camera, film stock and lab metadata, preserves the twin check, fixes the photo order in the Photos app, and generates a contact sheet for each roll.
