How to Study the Bible: Inductive Method + Genesis 5

Most people read Genesis 5 and move on. It's a genealogy, they think. Names, numbers, and everyone dies. This class slows it all the way down. This is week one of the Genesis 5 study at Life Church, and it does two things at once: it walks through the observation of the text using the inductive Bible study method, and it teaches you how to read any passage of scripture carefully. Pastor Josue introduces the CIA approach, explains why context always comes before application, and begins walking through Genesis 5:1-32, including the one name in the genealogy where the pattern completely breaks. New sessions drop weekly. Pastor Josue leads Life Church of San Antonio, a gospel-centered church on the Southside of San Antonio. Every week he opens the Bible and teaches it straight, for people who grew up in church and people who never have. 🌐 Website: https://www.lcsa.us 💛 Give: https://www.lcsa.us/give 📘 Facebook:   / lifechurchsa   📸 Instagram:   / lcsa.us   🔔 Subscribe:    / @lifechurchofsanantoniotx
