Transport of molecules in plants -Uniport, Symport and Antiport,
Transport of in Plants -Uniport, Symport and Antiport Search Queries In this video we have discussed some specific terms related to the transport like Uniport Symport and Antiport. Uniport means only one type of molecules moves through the carrier protein (Out/in) or (In/Out) by passive way or active means. While Symport and Antiport are coupled transport. This is a type of secondary active transport. In Symport 2 different molecules moves in same direction through carrier protein while In Antiport 2 different types of molecules moves in opposite directions through the same carrier protein. We will discuss the mechanism and examples of these types of transport.
