ToonCraft - Animating Loba

I hope you enjoy a little behind the scenes in the making of Loba! This character was particularly challenging to animate. We had to rely heavily on good reference in order to really sell the attitude and sophistication that this character called for. In the end, we ended up needing the help from 6 different women who at one point or another provided some invaluable performances for us to better learn how to animate Loba. In this video, you will see 2 of these wonderful actresses, Theresa June-Thao and Nicola Lambo. Both of them were instrumental in getting the body mechanics as accurate as possible and then go to town in animating all the detail and focusing the performance to fit into the requirements of our game.
