The Legend of Knockgrafton told by Bróna McVittie

Bróna McVittie tells the old Irish story of two hunchbacks who have very different fates with the fairies. Little hunchback Lusmore lives in the town of Cappagh in Tipperary, an unassuming character whose gentle character is embraced by the fairies in the moat of Knockgrafton, unlike his counterpart Jack Madden a grumpy hunchback from Waterford, who displeases the fairies greatly, to his demise. The story has inspired HUMPY, the new single from McVittie's forthcoming Supernatural album (due for release at Samhain). Check out Bróna's channel for the official animated lyric video for HUMPY. The Legend of Knockgrafton was collected by T Crofton Croker, initially published in his 1825 bestseller 'Fairy Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland'.
