Government's response to Stilfontein slammed
The government is being criticised for the way it responded to calls for assistance for illegal miners who remain underground in Stilfontein in the North West. Government-sanctioned recovery efforts started on Monday after a court ruling instructed the government to do so. So far, 51 bodies have been recovered.
