🧗‍♂️ Via Corda of the Virgin of Vercors – A Hidden Gem 🌄 Here's a little gem hidden on the Vercors plateau ✨ This route isn't officially a via ferrata, nor a traditional climbing route… it's a UFO of the vertical world 🛸 The Via Corda of the Virgin of Vercors is an airy and challenging route, very well equipped with rungs, cleverly utilizing the natural ledges of the rock. 👉 You'll climb nearly 200 meters of rock face, almost effortlessly, directly above the village of Saint-Julien-en-Vercors. ⚠️ IMPORTANT Information – Safety 🚫 No fixed ropes on the route ➡️ No need to bring a via ferrata kit ✅ However, it is essential to master the basics of rope progression: Chest harnesses Leader/second progression Taut rope Belaying while moving ❗ If these concepts are unfamiliar to you, do not attempt this route alone.
