This seven-part television series has become one of the most famous and beloved adaptations of Jules Verne's classic adventure novel. Director Stanislav Govorukhin created not just a film, but a vibrant musical canvas that blends both the events of the book and the story of its creation. Captain Grant sets out on a perilous voyage to establish a free Scottish settlement on the Pacific islands. But his ship is wrecked, and only a faint message in a bottle provides fragmentary information about Grant.
