PBA Fiesta Conference (May 30, 2004) Shell's last conference in the PBA before bidding farewell to the league The 2004 Fiesta Conference marked a significant turning point for Shell Turbo Chargers in the league. Following the conference, Shell made the decision to take a leave of absence. Subsequently, Shell sold their rights to Welcoat, which has since been rebranded as Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. As a result of this transition, key players such as Tony dela Cruz, Mark Hrabak, Chris Calaguio, Ronald Tubid, and the Rookie of the Year, Rich Alvarez, were all dispersed to different teams. Additionally, their head coach, Leo Austria, also found himself joining a new team. (c) PBA
