Russ Gary Interview - Creedence Clearwater Revival's Engineer
For educational use only. This is a personal interview I had with Russ Gary in 2025 talking about his time at Wally Heiders Studio in San Francisco around 1968-1970 revealing how he recorded Creedence Clearwater Revivals albums from Green River forward. Today Wally Heiders Studio is known as Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco. The studio was an important part of the 60s San Francisco sound, and the mobile truck recorded the famous Monterey Pop Festival of 1968.
