In this documentary, we explore how livestock fed mines, moved loads, sustained workers, connected regions, and helped build fortunes in New Spain. Because a mine didn't run on silver alone. It needed food, transportation, pack animals, leather, tallow, markets, muleteers, cowboys, laborers, merchants, and landowners. The Camino Real de Tierra Adentro was not only a route for precious metals.
