Í hverjum þætti spila fjórar hljómsveitir/listamenn nýja tónlist, 1 – 3 lög hver hljómsveit/listamaður. Þátturinn er tekin upp í einu rennsli með áhorfendur í sal, eins og um lifandi tónleika sé að ræða, enda markmiðið að fanga augnablikið í tónlistinni. English: Studio A is a live music program that The Icelandic Public Service television RÚV (www.ruv.is) started in the fall of 2013. Each show has 4 acts, bands/artists and each act plays 1-3 songs, usually new music from brand new albums.
