BLOWN TIRE | A day of pulling with the Fire G

On June 6th 2026, we hit the pulling track at County Line Antique Tractor Club in Williamston, MI. This is only the second pull we have had our new 840ci John Deere G at since putting it together at the end of April. The tractor ran great and had plenty of power! We may need to make some slight tweaks to the carb as it seems to have been running a tad rich (yes, despite not blowing black smoke). Weight balance looked okay for the day, didn’t see the sky too much and wasn’t stuck on the ground. We hoped to run more classes, but the left tire’s sidewall decided to split and the tube eventually blew while on the trailer! Since recording this footage, we have already found a replacement tire, got it on the rim, and gave it a nice full cut to go along with the other tire! We are ready for the next tractor pull.
