Thoughts on Remembering to Hook In (hang gliding)
Some thoughts about risk management, a hint of psychology, and keeping the focus where it belongs: HOOKING IN. Talking about the when, where, how, or specific methodology can actually be a distraction from what matters, hooking in and then consistently checking that you are, in fact, hooked in. SAFETY IS NO ACCIDENT. *** I have been fortunate enough to start early in hang gliding, and spent many years devoted to learning and understanding as much as I can about flying (still working on that)... I enjoy teaching and sharing what I've picked up along the way to continue improving safety and enjoyment of flight. If you find this video helpful and would like to see more like this from me, please leave a comment below and let me know. If there's enough interest I have lots of ideas of topics to share with ya'll and if it's really helping people and getting watched I'll step up the effort on cleaner productions instead of this 'quick and dirty' single take :-)
