Paragon was a third-person multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Epic Games. At the height of the MOBA craze when practically every major developer was trying to wrestle a piece of the market from the likes of Riot Games and Valve, Paragon's development team was given free rein when making the title. Unfortunately, a series of issues both in-game and on the business end between Epic Games and Tencent led to the demise of Paragon before it could really take off. For most titles that share such a fate, this would typically be the end of the story, but for Paragon a group of passionate developers took action to restore the beloved game and gave rise to its second coming.
