71000 Duke of Gloucester Drifts to a stop at Hartford station in Cheshire 10th October 2025
10th October 2025 and we see 71000 Duke of Gloucester out on the mainline on a private chairmans charter from London Euston to Carlisle Upperby TMD. 71000 was attached to the charter at Crewe,we see her drifting into Hartford station in Cheshire and come to a stop. A few minutes later she was of in fine style. Unfortunateley the charter was cancelled at Carnforth. Last reprt was that 37401 was on its was to take the train to Carlisle.71000 had a stuck valve lets hope they can repair her quickly.
