THE LARGEST HINDU TEMPLE OUTSIDE OF ASIA || BAPS SHRI SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR }MOST VISITED IN THE WORLD

Join me as we take a walking tour and explore this AMAZING location and structure. The world's largest Hindu temple outside of India is now in Central New Jersey USA. The Akshardham is the 2nd biggest Hindu temple on Earth. This enormous stone structure is just 1hr 10minutes from New York City and also from Philadelphia. It took more than 10 years to build and they are still building and expanding... It is already more than 184 acres. 2 million cubic feet of stone was extracted from quarries from around the world. Thousands of containers were shipped to India, where skilled artisans used the ancient form of carving to turn lifeless blocks of stone into works of art. More than 12,000 volunteers contributed millions of hours to build the temple. The temple is free of charge to visit and is open to visitors 6 days a week, being closed every Tuesday. The Shayona Cafe is open from 11am to 8pm. The Akshardham Store is open from 9:30am to 8:30pm. Be sure to NOT miss visiting the MANDIR when you are here for a visit as I almost did. You are required to remove your shoes before entering this sacred section. Cell phones must be put in silent mode and NO CAMERAS ARE TO BE USED FOR PHOTOS OR VIDEOS. This Mandir is truly AMAZING and words can not describe just how magnificent it is. It is tons of hand carved white marble everywhere. This area alone is worth the visit.
