Catching Vibes, Not Fish | Our First Time in Grand Isle, LA

After an amazing fishing charter last year, we thought we were ready to take on Grand Isle by ourselves. Spoiler alert: the fish had other plans! 😂 Join us for our very first attempt at a real DIY fishing trip. It's been over a decade since Marshall fished, and my only experience was with a guide who did all the hard work. In this video, we learn firsthand how different it is when you're the one buying the gear, finding the "magical" spot, and trying not to tangle the line on every cast. This adventure is less about the one that got away... and more about the ones that never showed up in the first place! But even though we left with empty hands, we had an absolute blast soaking up the sun and scenery in beautiful Grand Isle, Louisiana. And we got so many laughs out of how bad our first solo attempt at fishing was. It's proof that sometimes the best memories are made when things don't go exactly as planned.
