FOXO4-DRI is a peptide that has sparked great interest in scientific research due to its proposed action on senescent cells, a central target in aging studies. Its action is related to interference in protein interactions involved in the survival of these cells, raising hypotheses about its possible role in longevity strategies. In this lesson, we explore how FOXO4-DRI acts at the molecular level, especially in pathways linked to the regulation of apoptosis and the accumulation of senescent cells, mechanisms that have been extensively studied in the context of cellular aging and age-related diseases.
