BMW Automated Shift Assistant - Can it challenge Hondas DCT?

BMW now offers its Automated Shift Assistant on both the R1300GS and GSA. For a long time it was only Honda with their DCT system that offered a semi or fully automatic option for motorcycles. But now several other manufacturers including BMW are offering a similar solution. I recently had the opportunity to ride the R1300GS ASA to see what I thought.
