El presidente Luis Abinader expresó este sábado su profunda indignación por la muerte del joven Darlin Mercado Reyes, ocurrida en el sector La Cañada de Guajimía, en Herrera, presuntamente a manos de un agente de la Policía Nacional, y calificó al responsable como “un animal”. El mandatario afirmó que este hecho empaña los esfuerzos que realiza el Gobierno para transformar la institución del orden mediante la reforma policial.
