In this video we’re in Barcelona. It is the 11th September 2019, the National Day of Catalonia. For many years people take part in a protest to celebrate this day and we will ask the people why they want Catalan independence. The National Day of Catalonia, 11th September, commemorates the defeat that the Catalans suffered in 1714. What purpose does protesting serve? Do you remember the first time you protested and why?
