KontrolFreak DIY MIDI Finger Drums
In "Kontrol Freak" I make a new MIDI controller in every video, then play it for a bit and record some music. In this episode I make a set of MIDI finger drums, out of scrap bamboo, balloons, and CNY70 sensors. Along the way I give a bit of a tutorial on getting started with the CNY70, including the specific pin setup with resistor values for the photo transistor and the LED, plus incorporating recycled parts and components from a previous finger drum set.
